This year Wynberg Rotary Club and Constantia Rotary Club and Kromboom Rotary Club elected to host their RFHD this year during the week before the official dates to coincide with school holidays. Youth Citations
Justin Schonegevel,a Wynberg Rotarian, and Lee Bergman, Wynberg Rotaractor, were presented with Citations for their exceptional dedication to the youth, at a meeting of RC Newlands Youth Services in September.
Induction of two New Members
A highlight of any Club President’s tenure is the induction of new members into the club and RI.
On 10th March 2016 the club proudly inducted Jean and Sanmari Crous.
Jean and Sanmari had been visiting the club for several meetings, and had already become very involved in club activities, meetings and social events. They had moved to the Southern Suburbs a year ago, and had been looking for a meaningful way to enjoy their leisure hours in the community. Fortunately for all parties they discovered Wynberg Rotary Club.
The rest, as they say, is history!
End of Year Party
The Wynberg Rotary Club celebrated the end of another successful year at the Zeekoevlei Sailing Club with a braai.
