On Sunday 18 April our club hosted an Easter Picnic for the Girls of St Michaels Home in Plumstead. President Nominee Monique Bayes began in March by collecting hamper donated by the members of the club.
Rotary Members collected and put together hampers for the girls including hygiene products, hair accessories, Easter goodies and a gift. These were handed to each girl at the Picnic.
St Michaels Home in Plumstead cares for 30 Teenage girls who are placed with them. The home does amazing work to ensure they are cared for especially during these tough times.
