Rapper MS welcomes DG Casper Kruger to Wynberg
District Governor Casper Kruger was warmly welcomed to Wynberg by a special rap by Past President Mike Schreiber on Thursday 1 November 2018.
It is custom now a day for special guests to be welcomed to our club with a rap tune which the club has got to enjoy at DG visits and Induction nights. DG Casper on his club visits presented to our club the importance to focus on the club and not membership. Casper eluded to the fact that a well run and welcoming club will spur natural growth that will be sustainable rather than being concerned by the task.
Earlier that day Casper was presented with 3 of Wynbergs projects; Community Medcis, Ground UP Academy and Victoria Hospital where Rotary Wynberg, Rotary Foundation, Last Night of the Proms and Clubs from overseas has invested over R1.5 million this past 2 years. Casper was amazed by the amount of contribution our club does given the size.
