And so ‘Proms-Lite: Under our African Skies’ is over. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did – I know Richard Cock, our soloists, and the orchestra were all very pleased with the response.
All funds raised will go to our community projects:- currently, St. Michael’s Child and Youth Care Centre, Victoria Hospital, and the Thuthuzela Care Centre (Rape Crisis Clinic). We keep no money for ourselves.

On Sunday 6 October Wynberg Rotary handed over a brand new response car to Community Medics as part of a Global Grant project between Wynberg and 7 Rotary Clubs in the USA. The response vehicle is part of a R520 000 Global Grant project including training and equipment.

Last Night of the Proms raised over a quarter million Rand for charity in September. On Thursday 15 November 2018 Rotary Club of Wynberg (Club / Wynberg) hosted the receiving recipients to a dinner at Palm House Wynberg along with representatives of the various choirs who provide the amazing sounds over the 2 night performance.
