Wynberg Rotary Talks are back!


The Wynberg Rotary Talks series launched in 2018 by Wynberg Rotary Club are back in 2021 and aim to be as interesting and exciting as before!

In 2018 current President Justin Schonegevel launched the Wynberg Rotary Talks series with the aim to highlight Rotary through a series of quality speaker nights. It was a successful launch with host Andre’ Du Toit and guest Braam Malherbe entertaining and engaging the audience.

Wynberg Rotary Talks returns in 2021 with a series of great speakers lined up to inspire; encourage and amaze you.

Once again hosted by The Big Positive Guy Andre’ du Toit, Rotary Wynberg will be hosting on Zoom a series of five inspirational, interesting and energetic speakers every 4th Thursday at 18:30 from February until June 2021.

Laundry done!

During lockdown Parkhaven elderly home’s only washing machine that services all residents packed up.
Rotary Club of Wynberg agreed to replace it so that all the washing is done and cleaned. This small project means a lot to the staff who have been doing washing by hand.
Members Monique and Pam with Tina of Parlhaven handed over a new 16kg washing machine to Parkhaven old age home.



Wynberg launches #Rotary4Women Sanitary Pad Drive for the month of August!

Rotary Club of Wynberg will be collecting and donating sanitary pads to various homes and facilities that care for our most vulnerable girls and women.

Rotary is opening Opportunities for Young Leaders

On Thursday 2 July the Rotary Club of Wynberg celebrated the Induction of President Justin Schonegevel and his board for the Rotary year 2020 /2021 via their first virtual Induction held over Zoom.

Inductions were traditionally in grand, face-to-face settings to celebrate the occasion, but with the onset of Coronavirus this was not possible, and a plan was made for a Virtual Induction.
