Rotary Family Health Day

Rotary Family Health Day actually runs over 3 days during which Rotary Clubs offer free medical health services, check-ups and advice to communities in need.

The kind of services offered are:  blood pressure, body mass index, breast screening, Cervical Pap smears, Cholestrol testing, condoms and family planning, CPR and first aid, Deworming, Dental, General and Environmental Hygiene and hand washing, Drug advice, Eye testing, glucose testing, Hepatitis, HIV, Male circumcision, Multivitamins, Nutrition, Polio, TB, Female hygiene, Measles, Pulse screening, Diabetes, Cancer, diarrhoea, Audiology testing.  Where possible we also handout toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap to the community.

Rotary Clubs provide an organisational service and work closely with National and City Health officials and NGO’s to provide the medical services.
