Rotary Club of Wynberg wishes you a Happy New Year

The Rotary Club of Wynberg ended the year with a fun and festive Christmas Party on 14 December at the Palm House Wynberg.

The evening saw members, guests and their partners enjoy fun and games throughout the evening. Guests were asked to draw a Christmas tree in front of fire place on a paper late that was placed on their heads. Keela began reading out what to draw and as you went from the floor the tree and decorations, the images got quite interesting. Another fun game was Christmas Scrabble.

Mike and Dave sang a Rotary rendition of 12 days of Christmas that had the room laughing while they sang “Five Avenueeees”… Later the evening Santa (Mike) came out and so began a session of present swapping and stealing. Many members walked away with fun gifts and others just a packet of clothing pegs. The most prized gift that got snatched from one to another was the tasty Panettone.

President Rob Murphy thanked Keela for her hard efforts in organizing the night and wished all the members, guests and partners a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We meet next 11 January 2018.
